After years of researching the financial markets as an investor, Rick answered the call to help others by returning to college, earning a Certificate of Achievement in Financial Planning from Metropolitan College in 2012. Rick enjoys working with entrepreneurs, working families, retirees and near-retirees, with an emphasis on growth that outpaces inflation.
Another focus for Rick is helping participants of FERS, the Federal Employees Retirement System, understand how their benefits are calculated and how to create a retirement income stream. Rick describes himself as a ‘Rational Optimist’ and believes it’s the greatest time to be alive, here in the greatest country on earth. He says “There will always be uncertainty in life- it is the natural order. The secret of success is remaining rational in spite of the uncertainty.”
Rick makes his home near Springfield, Nebraska. He has 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren; 2 boys and 2 girls. Rick’s hobbies include reading, time with his grandkids, RVing, hunting, and attending auto race events.
